Jonathan Davis – President & Founder Jonathan.Davis@jdmginc.comJonathan Davis serves as the president and director of JD Management Group, Inc. He has a broad experience in all aspects of apartment management, including tenant relations, maintenance and repairs, advertising, leasing, and owner valuation and budget consultation. Jonathan has vast experience in apartment acquisitions, commercial finance, and dispositions. His expertise has guided shareholders and enabled them to grow the JD Management apartment portfolio from $5,000,000 to $30,000,000 within the last three years. Jonathan is a member of the Board of Directors for the Berkeley Property Owners Association and has served on various committees over the years lobbying for property owner's rights.
Jonathan is a member of the California Apartment Association, Rental Housing Association of Northern Alameda County, the Berkeley Property Owners Association, the San Francisco Association of Realtors, CCIM Institute Northern California Chapter, and is currently a candidate to the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) program. He earned certification as a CCRM (California Certified Residential Manager) in 2005 from the California Apartment Association. Mr. Davis is also on the Board of Directors of the Young Peoples Symphony Orchestra where he raises scholarship funds for advanced education in classical music.

With 25 years of property management experience, Sam provides a wealth of knowledge at all levels of property management including personnel management, evaluation, planning, contract negotiations, physical operations, budgeting, risk management and rehabilitation. For 17 years Sam was the executive director and president of the Friedkin-Becker Corporation, an Oakland based privately held, multi-million dollar corporation. Sam has successfully led teams of property managers, contractors and financial staff in the operation and rehabilitation of multi-family, hotel, and commercial properties. Dr. Cohen spearheaded the complete rehabilitation for the 132-unit Timbers apartments in Hayward, CA from an Apartment community in decay to an institutional grade property. Dr. Cohen also directed the 3 million dollar comprehensive renovation of the Jack London Inn, a 112-room full service hotel in the prestigious Jack London Square area of Oakland. Mr. Cohen holds a California Brokers License (#00443127), A CPM (certified property manager) designation through the institute of property management.

Gary directs all legal aspects for JD management Group, Inc. An attorney by trade, Mr. Mugg oversees the association management for over 800 units throughout the Bay Area and Northern California. Gary also specializes in corporate structures, mergers, and acquisitions.

David is a real estate broker based in Oakland, CA, who has found success representing local and international buyers and sellers of residential properties. Prior JD Management, David was an executive property manager, and oversaw all leasing, advertising, maintenance and expense reports for 100 units in Berkeley, Oakland, and San Francisco. David is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), the British America Business Chamber, and a player in the Greenwich Village Orchestra. David earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder and completed a summer session at the London Seminar of International Finance and Business.

A native of San Francisco, Mr. Edelheit has 35 years of experience in real estate development, sales, and management. Gordon's expertise includes capital improvement oversight, acquisitions, mergers, and business development. Gordon oversees property managers throughout the west coast and serves as the director of business development for JDMG. Gordon is one of the original founders of the San Francisco Haight Street Fair and is also the founder of the Atlantic Clothing Bank.

Marylou has lived in the bay area for 10 years and has 25 years of accounting experience. Her primary duties include: payroll, AP/AR, bank reconciliation, generating financial statements, balance sheets and overseeing human resources.

John has been in construction/maintenance for 35 years and has been licensed general contractor for 6 years. His crew of 5 others can fix or remodel anything efficiently and at minimal cost. John has experience in condo conversion upgrades, tenant improvements, total remodels and building from the ground up. In his free time John works on his collection of hot rods.

A Native of Berkeley, Charlie has been working with JD Management for just under 1 year. Charlie specializes in property valuation, vendor relations, and tenant relations. Charlie is fluent in Spanish and is currently enrolled in the California Apartment Association, CCRM Designation course program.

Joseph has been a property manager for 3 years and has been with JD Management since its inception. He oversees operations of several apartment complexes in the East Bay Area. His duties include tenant relations, maintenance and repairs, capital improvements, advertising, leasing and income/expense budgeting for the properties. Joseph has a degree in international hospitality where he studied at Il Lorenzo De Medici, in Florence, Italy. He is also a gourmet chef.
